At age 25, Muhammad ﷺ married Khadijah bint Khuwaylid, a successful merchant and widow of noble character. She was 40 years old. Their marriage was one of deep love, mutual respect, and partnership that lasted 25 years until her death.
Significance
Khadijah was the first to believe in the Prophet's message and his greatest supporter during the most difficult early years.
