In the 10th year of Prophethood, the Prophet ﷺ lost both his beloved wife Khadijah and his uncle Abu Talib, who had been his protector, within weeks of each other. This was the most emotionally devastating period of his life.
Significance
The loss of both personal support (Khadijah) and political protection (Abu Talib) left the Prophet ﷺ at his most vulnerable.
